Marina Approaches

Overview

The approach channel runs North South and marked by port and starboard piled beacons rising to a height of 6m and topped by green (starboard) and red (port) flashing lights. Please don’t stop while in the Marina approach channel.

The entry channel position is 1°12’23N 104°5’775E

There is another marked channel running parallel 100m to the West.

This is the Ferry channel and is restricted. Please be very careful to ensure you enter the correct (Eastern) channel and never try to cut across from one channel to the other, be aware of very shallow waters on either side of the approach channel.

Be aware of “isolated dangers” outside the channel entrance marked by Stick with flag, give 100m clearances around the Stick.

15 minutes before approaching the channel entrance, please Call VHF Radio 72 for guiding assistance.
